WITH ICGENE MINI 12 TESTS CAN BE PERFORMED SIMULTANEOUSLY
The ICGENE mini is based on LAMP technology and was developed to allow the use of molecular diagnostic techniques without the need for unwieldy laboratory instruments. It is a Real Time amplifier and fluorescence reader which, through a user-friendly Android interface, guides the operator in carrying out the steps to be performed. Working simultaneously with up to 12 samples per run, it takes between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the kits being used, to perform all the steps necessary to attain test results.
The sample identification data is provided by the technician for each sample The identity of the operator and the kit is automatically logged by the RFID technology. The devise is thus able to record all the data necessary for complete traceability of tests. The results are available via tablet and through the ICGENE WEB platform. Data may also be managed via the web.
ICGENE mini is ideal for operations requiring routine quality control and for test laboratory environments where medium scale productivity is required. The same instrument, given its small dimensions, is also ideal for testing in the field. Two different kits are available for field tests. The kits come complete with accessories and are designed for phytopathology tests or water tests.
The ICGENE Health devise is a portable real-time fluorescence amplifier and reader for diagnostic tests for use by medical laboratories in hospitals and clinics. It is based on LAMP technology and has been developed to allow the use of molecular diagnostic techniques in human and veterinary testing. It is simple to use and eliminates the need for bulky and cumbersome laboratory instrumentation.
The average test time is about 1 hour but up to 12 samples can be processed at the same time. A user-friendly Android interface (tablet and app) guides the operator through every step of the process. The system tracks the test performed, storing the operator's details, the date and time of the test run, particulars of the device used, batch identification, the expiration date of the reagents used, and gives the test results.
Data management can also be stored and accessed through the ICGENE WEB platform.
This Directive introduces the obligation to implement a comprehensive risk assessment and management system covering the entire water supply chain. Risk controls and assessments are required to check for classical contaminants and those classified as emerging and not otherwise subject to routine scrutiny.
The Water Safety System, which includes the ICGENE Mini, may be carried in our bespoke briefcase, effectively providing a small portable laboratory which allows tests to be performed in the field and so meets the needs of those situations of prevention and warning where timely intervention is required.
The Water Safety System also links to the ICGENE WEB platform for automatic real-time transmission of results from the field to the lab.
